Position Profile

In this position you will be responsible for ensuring that the installation process on the construction site adheres to quality control standards.

Responsibilities

- Frequent travel coast-to-coast to perform site inspection audits on various projects across the country
- Inspect installation methods and verify the conditions meet expected quality control standards and specifications
- Conduct field testing as directed for internal review
- Prepare project specific quality measures
- Communicate established QA/QC requirements to field crew
- Maintain good customer relations
- Provide internal field reports to Engineering and Branch Manager/PM on field inspections
- Assist with testing mock-up installation
- Provide feedback to Shop QC Specialist on any quality concerns that may lead to product improvement
- Provide technical instruction to field crews
- Conduct installation training on glazing systems and provides technical support
- Attend onsite kick-off meeting with Superintendents and Foreman

Qualifications

- Must have 5-10 years' experience with Curtain Wall & Window Glazing Systems
- Must demonstrate excellent quality control and quality assurance management skills in current work environment
- Knowledge of Curtain Wall systems, Window Glazing is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem resolution skills
- Detail-oriented and capable of juggling multiple/changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to travel frequently across the country
